🕒 Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is 12:00 PM (IST) and check-out time is 11:00 AM (IST).
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.

📅 Cancellation & Amendment Policy
Cancellations made 3 days prior to arrival will not incur any charges.
Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will attract one-night retention charges.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged one day's room rent.
No-shows will also be charged accordingly.

👶 Child Policy
Children below 8 years can stay complimentary when sharing the existing bed. An extra bed, if required, may be chargeable.

🪪 Identification Requirement
All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID with address proof at the time of check-in.

💳 Additional Charges
Any services or facilities not included in the booked room tariff will be billed separately, wherever applicable.

🚫 Visitor Policy
Visitors are not permitted inside guest rooms. Guests are requested to meet visitors only in designated/common areas, subject to property rules.

🧳 Guest Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Sumuda Residency management will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the stay.

🏨 General Policy
Guests are expected to maintain appropriate conduct and respect the property, staff, and other guests. All standard hospitality industry policies will apply where specific terms are not mentioned in the booking or reservation confirmation.

⚖️ Right of Admission
Sumuda Residency reserves the right of admission and may refuse or discontinue accommodation in accordance with applicable hotel policies and regulations.

By confirming a reservation with Sumuda Residency, guests agree to the terms outlined below.

Applicable for bookings of 1–2 rooms

✔ Free Cancellation
Guests may cancel their reservation up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date without any cancellation charges.

⚠ Late Cancellation
Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will incur one night’s room charge, including applicable taxes.

🚫 No-Show Policy
If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation:

• The booking will be treated as a No-Show. 
• One night’s room charge will be deducted. 
• Remaining nights may be released by Sumuda Residency. 

⏳ Early Departure
Guests checking out earlier than the confirmed departure date may incur one-night retention charges, unless otherwise approved by the management.

Applicable for bookings of 2 rooms or more / group stays

✔ Cancellation 15 Days Prior
Full cancellation made 15 days or more before arrival – No cancellation charges applicable.

⚠ Cancellation 7–14 Days Prior
Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival will attract a charge of 50% of the total booking value.

❌ Cancellation Within 7 Days
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur 100% of the booking amount.

🔻 Reduction in Rooms
Any reduction in the number of confirmed rooms within 7 days of arrival will be considered a partial cancellation and charged accordingly.

🚫 Group No-Show
Failure of the group to arrive without prior notice will result in 100% retention of the booking amount.

💳 Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date the cancellation is confirmed.

💰 Mode of Refund
Refunds will generally be issued through the original mode of payment, unless otherwise agreed upon.

🏦 Transaction Charges
Applicable bank charges, transaction charges, or payment gateway fees may be deducted from the refundable amount.

🌐 Third-Party / OTA Bookings
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms or OTAs such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, or other travel partners must be cancelled through the respective platform. Such cancellations and refunds will be governed by the policies and terms applicable to that booking.

• Changes to booking dates, number of rooms, room categories, or guest details are subject to availability. 
• Room tariffs may change depending on the revised dates, room category, occupancy, or availability. 
• All amendments should be requested through the official reservation contact or email of Sumuda Residency. 
• Confirmation of any amendment is subject to approval by the management. 

During festivals, public holidays, weekends, special events, and other high-demand periods, different or special cancellation conditions may apply.

Guests will be informed of any applicable special cancellation terms at the time of booking or reservation confirmation.

Sumuda Residency shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters 
• Government restrictions or orders 
• Public emergencies 
• Strikes 
• Transportation disruptions 
• Other unforeseen circumstances 

In such situations, Sumuda Residency reserves the right to modify reservations, reschedule bookings, or provide suitable alternatives, subject to management discretion and applicable conditions.

Sumuda Residency reserves the right to modify, revise, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time when necessary.

The applicable cancellation and refund conditions communicated at the time of reservation will govern the respective booking.
